Save Outlook email messages in MSG format preserving timestamps
Many Outlook users save email messages as files in MSG format. Outlook has two built-in ways to do that: drag and drop, and the "Save As" command. Both of these methods have several issues. One of the biggest is the fact that they use the current time for the file "Date Modified" timepstamp, as opposed to the time when the message was received. This makes it harder to find the right file later.
This is one of the features that make our product, MessageSave for Microsoft Outlook, so popular for saving email messages in MSG format. It preserves timestamps. So all your files are dated according to the time when the corresponding messages were received. MessageSave also has a number of other great features, such as bulk saving and automatically renaming files, which can significantly reduce the amount of time you spend on maitaining your email archives.
In addition to keeping the timestamps, MessageSave can also preserve other message metadata, such as sender and recipients.
